Trojan Ska & Reggae Classics

As part of Trojan’s 50th anniversary celebrations, Friday 25th June sees the release of Trojan Ska & Reggae Classics, a 3CD TV-advertised collection featuring 60 of the biggest Jamaican music hits from the label’s legendary catalogue.

Featuring 49 Top 60 UK chartbusters, including 4 UK Number 1s, 16 Top 10s and a dozen Top 20s, this joyous compilation showcases the very best in classic Caribbean sounds, from rude boy ska to dancehall anthems, and in doing so demonstrates just why Trojan remains the world’s greatest reggae label, half a century since its launch.

With each of these tracks a familiar favourite, the collection is the ideal introduction to those wishing to discover the joys of Jamaican music and, in particular, Trojan Records. So please help us spread the word among those still unfamiliar with classic ska, rock steady and reggae sounds that this music is far too good to ever be forgotten!
